2010 Season of GODencounters

February we launch our 2010 season, with young adults gathering at beautiful Camp Winnekeag to “Get the Good News!” [http://www.atlantic-union.org/godencounters2010.html]  Your prayers are cherished, and we anticipate this getaway with GOD to be a tipping point in His Kingdom.  GOD is on the move!

I am shocked! Still awaiting details for every gathering, I’m taken back by the growing surge of GODencounters for this year.  Take a look:

As you continue to pray for our retreat in Massachusetts, I would solicit you to begin to turn your prayers towards Atlanta, Georgia. Young adults are inviting city dwellers to join them on a journey to the heart of GOD!  [http://fusionchurchatlanta.com/journey/]  They relish your prayer support, and helping them spread the word about Journey: A Deeper Experience.  Join me in asking GOD to place it in the heart of the city to return to Him [Jeremiah 24/7].

Know that this summer, Atlanta, Georgia, USA, will again be the site for GODencounters as we host the first worldwide GODencounters Conference, July 1-3, 2010 to coincide with 59th General Conference Session [http://www.gcsession.org/].

As a guide to your discipleship journey, or as a gift to someone you wish to invite to encounter GOD, please consider the 2010 discipleship book of the year, GODencounters: Pursuing a 24/7 Experience of Jesus. [http://www.adventistbookcenter.com/GODencounters] A tapestry of young adult voices, it intends to honestly share the heart of a new generation seeking after GOD.

It’s all about GOD.  GODencounters relies on your passion to spread.  The movement relies on your prayers to flourish.  It’s impact relies on your presence to reflect Jesus.  Thank you for being a GODfollower.  All for His fame!

I’m excited about GODencounters at the GC! I’d love to bring some young adults from my church. Can you give me any more details? Is there a cost involved for the conference itself? Do we have any housing connections? Thanks!

so exciting to see all of the events happening. i’m curious about the ones in Oregon… not that I’m going to be at any of them but i’m happy to see they will be in my home conference. i’m also excited about the GE @ the GC. I WILL be at that one and am looking forward to seeing everyone and worshiping together. there is so much going on – wish i could keep up better but i’ll continue to pray for God’s blessings on each leader and event. thanks allan for keeping us posted…
