Dr. Tim Elmore Equips Life Giving Mentors @ IGNITION

Tim Elmore, president of Growing Leaders, will be equipping young adult mentors at IGNITION, a young adult ministry training event, slated for April 7-11, 2010, Greater Columbus Convention Center, 400 North High Street, Columbus, Ohio.  You are invited to his two part intensive, 2:00-6:00PM, Friday & Saturday, April 9&10, Greater Columbus Convention Center, C213-215.

A vital key to young adult ministry is life giving relationships, but how do we go about this intimidating, seemingly daunting task?  “Young adults don’t connect the way former generations did—they don’t want a sage on stage,” admonishes Dr. Elmore, “They want a guide on the side.”

Dr. Tim Elmore, the author of the Habitudes series, is the founder and president of Growing Leaders, an Atlanta- based non-profit organization created to develop emerging leaders. Through Growing Leaders, he and his team provide public schools, state universities, civic organizations and corporations with the tools they need to help develop young leaders who can impact and transform society.  Elmore has worked alongside internationally recognized leadership expert Dr. John Maxwell for the past 25 years. According to Maxwell, “No one teaches leadership better than Tim Elmore.”

Elmore is among a powerful array of coaches to be featured at IGNITION focusing on young adult leadership development with experiences, training, worship, and intensives intended to equip and empower registrants.  IGNITION is sponsored by the North American Division of Seventh-day Adventists [NAD], and endorsed by the NAD Young Adult Ministry Advisory [YAMA].
